Using WebCam With Windows XP SP2
Version...

If your remote PC is uses Windows XP SP2, you
may have difficulty
accessing WebCam the first time. Following these instructions
will
alleviate the difficulty.
Close all programs and return to the desktop
Right
Click
on top of Internet Explorer icon and left click to
choose
Properties
or go to
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
select Internet Options
( = open Internet Options

Go to
Security
tab on the top of
Internet
Properties
Select
Custom Level
|
|

|
Security
Settings
|
Enable
Automatic
prompting for ActiveX controls
is set to
Prompt
Download unsigned ActiveX controls
Click
OK

The Warning!
message is not a concern, click
YES
to continue
|

|
|
|
Click OK
to
finish setting Internet Properties
|

|
|
Open IE and type your
Webcam Address
in the address bar,
opening the WebCam Page
Internet
Security Warning will popup; click
INSTALL
and then you
should be able to choose display
windows and click submit to
continue to Microsoft DirectX
Downloads.
