Thru Linksys Router...
IP forwarding is using the same theory to redirect your
Internet
connection as the redirection of a
phone call from one number to
another.
You
need to setup your Router to do automatic redirection
Open
Internet Explorer
Type your IP
Address
Security Login will pop up
There is no user name to enter
Type
ADMIN
in the password field (You may change the password; if you have done so, that is the one that you
enter)
Click
OK
Your Linksys Router page may be different if you have a newer
version. See the graphic below for instructions for that
screen.
Set Up Main Page, if you haven't done it already.
Go to
STATUS
on the top tab
Select Application &
Gaming
-> Port Range
Forwarding
Type your
IP Address
Forward these ports accordingly
Scroll down and click
APPLY
PORTS
PRIVATE TO
PUBLIC
RemoteView
3550 to 3550
WebCam
80 to 80
WebCam1
4550 to 4550
WebCam2
5550 to 5550
WebCamAudio
6550 to 6550
RPB
5066 to 5066
Center
20001 to 20001
Only add the ports you will be using. It is not
necessary to fill in all
of the spaces.
Open Port
forwarding may have security hole issue. This
System does not respond to every
security hole issue caused by virus or hacker attack. Use
Port forwarding with caution!
Keep a record of
your
WAN IP
Address
as
you will need this
information for
the remote site.
Select
ADVANCED
tab
Select
FILTERS
Scroll to find BLOCK WAN
REQUEST
Select
DISABLE
Click
APPLY
This setup
is
recommended
for the sake of
ease.
If a stronger
security level is
desired you may
enable WAN
REQUEST,
however
your firewall
must also be set
up appropriately
or you may have
difficulty
connecting.
If you haven't
already done
so, forward
these Ports
appropriately
Scroll down and
click

Or go to

ADD

REMOTE
to Uncheck
WebCam Server
Click
REMOTE
again.
Check WebCam
Server
to enable
The
Dialogue Box
will now be on
screen
Disable & Re-Enable Webcam Server
to open Dialog box
Click
SERVER SETUP
Modify your
PORT NUMBER
Make sure your
Port Number matches that in your Router Port forwarding page
If you have more than one DigiGuard system and want to
change
your second port number. This
is where you will do that.
