Enable Firewall...

   Directions for Windows XP only

   Unplug Network Cable from the back of your computer

Shutdown Your PC for 30 seconds

Turn On your PC without network cable

Go to Start Menu and open Control Panel

Double click on Network Connections

If you have a network card you will see this.
Local Area Connection

     If you do not have a network card you do not need to see
     this screen.

Right click Local Area
Connections

Left click Properties

Local Area Connection Properties

Click ADVANCED tab

Internet Connection Firewall Select PROTECT

Click SETTINGS

Select (highlight) WEB SERVER (HTTP)

Click EDIT

   Write down the second
       line information or do
        Ctrl+C to copy the
       information; this is
       your computer name.

Click OK to exit

Service Settings to add services to your computer

Now, to add services

Click ADD

adding services for your security system

Type RemoteView in
the first line

   Type Your Computer
       Name in the second
      line or use Ctrl+V to
      paste it back.

Type 3550 in the 3rd
line.

Type 3550 in the 4th
line.

Click OK

Adding services requires your IP address

Click ADD

Type Web1 in the
first line

Type Your Computer
       Name in the second
      line or use Ctrl+V to
      paste it back.

Type 4550 in the 3rd
line.

Type 4550 in the 4th
line.

Click OK

Adding Services: internal and external ports

   Click ADD

   Type Web2 in the first
      line

   Type Your Computer
       Name in the second
      line or use Ctrl+V to
      paste it back.

    Type 5550 in the 3rd
      line.
